Accessibility statement

Josben Care Services Limited wants people to be able to use this website whether they are finding care for a relative, referring a client, or applying for a job.

• Under the Equality Act 2010 we must not discriminate and we must make reasonable adjustments for disabled people when we provide services — including online services
• We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as a practical design and build standard for this site
• We have not published a formal external conformance audit against WCAG on this page. We will not claim “fully compliant” until a proper assessment supports that claim

In practical terms, the current site is designed with:

• semantic headings and landmarks so screen-reader users can navigate by structure
• keyboard-focus styles on interactive controls
• text alternatives on meaningful images where they are supplied
• forms with visible labels, error messages, and required-field indications
• colour contrast intended to remain readable against our navy and orange brand palette
• respect for prefers-reduced-motion where animations are used (for example hero video fallbacks and decorative motion)

Some content may be harder to use than the rest of the site:

• Third-party map embeds (OpenStreetMap) — the map viewer is provided by an external service; we brand the surrounding panel, but we do not fully control the embed’s internal accessibility
• Downloadable PDFs (for example a brochure) — older PDF files may not be fully tagged for assistive technology. If you need the same information in another format, ask us
• User-uploaded files in job applications — we cannot guarantee the accessibility of a CV someone else created
• Video heroes — decorative background video is muted and loops; if you prefer reduced motion, your system setting should show a still image instead
